Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Rasmus Hojlund if Harry Kane leaves, according to a report, but it is Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal who are leading the race for the Atalanta forward.
Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Arsenal target Rasmus Hojlund
CMW have reported that Tottenham have identified Atalanta and Denmark international striker Hojlund as a potential replacement for Kane.
Spurs do not want to sell Kane in the summer transfer window, but the North London club are looking at potential strikers who could replace the England international striker should he leave.
And, according to the Italian news outlet, Hojlund is on the Tottenham’s radar.
However, Tottenham are not going to find it easy to sign the striker who has scored five goals in two matches for Denmark over the international break.
Calciomercato have reported that Arsenal are in pole position for the 20-year-old striker.
Newcastle United and Juventus are also keen on Hojlund, who is a rising superstar in the world of football and has been compared to Manchester City and Norway international striker Erling Haaland.

The Denmark international has scored seven goals and given one assist in 1281 minutes of Serie A action for Atalanta so far this season.
Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini described Hojlund as a striker who is “just remarkable” and is “so quick” in TMW last month.
In demand
In our view, Rasmus Hojlund will be a player in demand in the summer transfer window, and Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will have to work hard to get a deal done.
The forward is doing well for Atalanta at the moment and has huge potential.
Juventus and Newcastle United are big clubs, and it seems that the Dane will have a number of options.
