Il Bianconero are reporting that Arsenal are determined to sign Manuel Locatelli and are not giving up.
What’s the story?
According to Il Bianconero, Arsenal are interested in signing Locatelli from Sassuolo in the summer transfer window.
Juventus are also keen on the midfielder.
The former Italian champions are planning to hold talks with Sassuolo in the coming days over the transfer of the 23-year-old.
Arsenal remain keen on the Italy international, according to Il Bianconero, and are not going to give up on signing the youngster.
The Premier League club are simply not going to let Juventus have a free run at the former AC Milan midfielder.

Are Arsenal fighting a losing battle?
Locatelli is a very good midfielder who is starring for Italy at the Euro 2020 finals.
Arsenal’s reported interest in the 23-year-old defensive midfielder does not come as a surprise at all.
The Sassuolo no.73 scored four goals and gave two assists in 34 Serie A games last season.

However, there is an argument to be made that Arsenal are fighting a losing battle over Locatelli.
Gazzetta Dello Sport has reported that Locatelli is ignoring Arsenal’s interest because he wants to join Juventus.
The Gunners cannot even get hold of the midfielder – he is that keen on a move to Juventus, arguably the biggest club of Italy.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
If the player himself is not interested in a move to Arsenal, then the North London club are going to find it extremely hard to sign him.
