Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has raved about Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli in Football.London after his team beat Mikel Arteta’s side in the FA Cup on Friday evening.
Guardiola was hugely impressed by Martinelli, who came on as a substitute for Arsenal in the second half of the FA Cup fourth-round tie against defending Premier League champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
The former Barcelona boss believes that the 21-year-old Brazil international, who played at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, is “incredible”.

Guardiola said: “Martinelli is an incredible weapon, Odegaard in the pockets, they are a really good team!”

Big praise
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is one of the best managers in the world and has worked with incredible players in his career, including the great Lionel Messi.
That Guardiola has publicly praised Martinelli shows just how good the Arsenal and Brazil international forward really is.
We think that the 21-year-old is a gem of a footballer who has been superb for the Gunners so far this season.
One of the major reasons why Arsenal are doing so well in the Premier League at the moment and could win the title this season is the form of Martinelli.
The Brazilian has made himself a regular in the Gunners’ front-three.
