Gunners legend Martin Keown has raved about former Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock in The Daily Mail, and believes that Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has “rejuvenated” him.
Keown made the comments about Willock while looking ahead to the Premier League game between Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle this weekend.
The BBC MOTD pundit wrote in The Daily Mail: “Howe has got Chris Wood, Bruno Guimaraes and Matt Targett all into his side, while he has rejuvenated Joe Willock and Ryan Fraser.”

In our opinion, Willock was right to leave Arsenal for Newcastle, and the Gunners did well to cash in on him.
It has worked out for both parties.
Arsenal got as much as £25 million in transfer fees from Premier League rivals Newcastle in the summer of 2021 for Willock (Sky Sports).

Now, Willock did not have the best of starts to the campaign, but he is starting to find his feet again under Howe and is playing his part in making sure that the Magpies do not get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
The Newcastle no. 28 has made 21 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season.
The 22-year-old has scored two goals in those games.
During his loan spell at Newcastle during the second half of last season, the English youngster scored eight goals in 11 Premier League starts and played a huge role in the Toon Army staying up.
