Arsenal and Newcastle United could now reportedly have a chance to sign Raphinha this summer with FC Barcelona now willing to sell the Brazilian.
According to Sport, the Catalan giants are looking to rebuild their attacking ranks despite enjoying an incredible year in La Liga with Robert Lewandowski leading the line, with Barcelona open to offers for Raphinha amid growing interest in the former Leeds United star.
Pete O’Rourke recently reported that Arsenal could reignite their interest in signing the 26-year-old having missed out on Raphinha in the summer, with the Gunners even believed to have made a £60m bid for the La Liga star in the January transfer window.
Sport also claimed last month that Newcastle are keeping tabs on Raphinha, with Eddie Howe keen to sign a wide-attacker who could challenge the likes of Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron, with the Magpies ready to spend big in the transfer market.

Indeed, whether or not Barcelona will accept a transfer offer equal to or lower than what they spent for Raphinha last summer is another question entirely, yet with the club now open to bids, Arsenal or Newcastle could make an attempt to land the South American this summer.
Moreover, with Barcelona’s financial situation continuing to worsen, there could be a chance for either Arsenal or Newcastle to land a potential bargain in the market, with Raphinha himself likely to be keen on a return to the Premier League this summer.
Barcelona selling Raphinha should put Arsenal and Newcastle on high alert

Raphinha’s transfer saga last summer was one of the biggest of the entire window, yet 12 months on from moving to Barcelona, the winger could be ready to leave Catalonia, a situation that should put both Arsenal and Newcastle on high alert.
As we know, the two Premier League clubs are interested in signing Raphinha, and with Barcelona now looking to sell, the Brazilian could find himself back in England and playing in a division where the attacker has established himself as a force of nature.
