
Arsenal talent Mika Biereth is making a name for himself after a summer move from Fulham – and he has thrown some praise Folarin Balogun’s way.
The Gunners wanted to sign another young striker this summer. They ended up staying local by raiding London rivals Fulham for Biereth.
The 18-year-old is already featuring regularly in Arsenal’s Under-23’s and joined Balogun in making a huge impact against Chelsea Under-23’s.
Biereth and Balogun run riot for Arsenal
Arsenal Under-23 took on Chelsea on Sunday, recording a massive 6-1 win despite having Omar Rekik sent off.
Biereth bagged a hat-trick, showing off his predatory instincts with three close-range finishes.
The first game from a superb Balogun cross, hooking the ball into the net with a stretching volley.
Balogun got himself on the scoresheet twice too, with Arsenal’s two young strikers causing mayhem against the Blues.

Biereth reacts to Balogun assist
Hat-trick hero Biereth has now taken to Instagram to post a reaction to Balogun’s stunning assist, simply saying ‘what a pass’.
Biereth added ‘what a finish’ alongside his goal as the duo worked in tandem brilliantly.
Arsenal will ultimately hope that Balogun and Biereth emerge into the first team in the future.
Seeing them bring this kind of link-up play to the senior side would great, with Arsenal fans no doubt keepings tabs on both Biereth and Balogun.
