Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Miguel Azeez’s goal for the England Under-20 side last night.
What’s the story?
Arsenal midfielder Azeez was in action for the England Under-20 side against their Czech Republic counterparts last night.
The Young Lions won 5-0.
Azeez was among the goalscorers.
In fact, the 19-year-old Arsenal midfielder – now on loan at Portsmouth in League One – scored the opening goal for England.
It was a brilliant goal, as you can see below.
What are Arsenal fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Arsenal fans were immensely pleased by Azeez’s goal.
Well, some of them anyway.
The 19-year-old is a very good midfielder who has come through the Arsenal academy.
Playing in League One this campaign will only help the youngster get better and return to Arsenal a more mature footballer for next season and beyond.
Arsenal do have a good and strong midfield, but there is always room for more quality footballers.
Azeez is only 19, and while we should not put too much pressure on him, we can certainly be optimistic of him becoming a huge success in the coming years.
