Arsenal have high hopes for youngster Miguel Azeez, and he has now been praised by former Gunners talent Daniel Oyegoke.
Oyegoke hails Azeez
Defender Oyegoke came through the Arsenal ranks before deciding to leave for London rivals Brentford this past summer.
Oyegoke is proof that not everybody can be Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe in playing for the Arsenal first team, but there is a future beyond that.
In the case of midfielder Azeez, he is being backed for the Arsenal first team in the future.
Now on loan at Portsmouth, the 19-year-old looks like a quality midfield player who can score from range.
Oyegoke has now been quoted by The Sun as saying that Azeez ‘stood out like a sore thumb and was on another level’ during their time together.
Azeez will need to be patient for his Arsenal chance
Mikel Arteta has so far picked Azeez just once, bringing him on as a substitute against Dundalk in December 2020.

Arsenal fans largely want to see more of Azeez, but he isn’t even starting for Portsmouth right now.
Azeez was an unused substitue for Pompey against Ipswich Town last night. It was the same story against Rotherham United last weekend.
There is so much potential in Azeez, but there is a long way to go before he is an Arsenal regular.
Stay patient, keep working hard and Azeez will have a chance to become the player Arsenal fans expect.
