Joe Willock scored for Arsenal against Standard Liege in the Europa League on Thursday.

The Gunners got the better of Liege 4-0 at the Emirates Stadium in North London in Europa League Group F on Thursday evening.
Willock featured for the Premier League club and scored for the hosts midway through the first half.
It was a very dominating performance from Arsenal, and 20-year-old midfielder Willock has said that Emery urged the players to continue to try for more goals.
BBC Sport quotes Willock as saying: “The manager told us to keep going even if it’s three or four nil. We want to get the ball back and get more goals. He drills that into us.”
Encouraging display
Arsenal were always expected to win against Liege, and the Gunners did not disappoint and were far the better team.
The North London outfit will face tougher tests, both in the Premier League and in the Europa League, in the coming weeks and months, but results and performances such as the one against Liege are very encouraging and will enhance the team’s confidence.
