Granit Xhaka insists that he is happy at Arsenal FC and has not heard anything from Bayern Munich about their interest in him.

Arsenal midfielder, Granit Xhaka, has said in an interview with the Swiss publication, Blick, that he has heard nothing from Bayern Munich about their rumoured interest in him.
The Swiss international has struggled to make a strong impression in the Premier League since his £30m move, as reported by Sky Sports, from Borussia Monchengladbach last summer. However, Arsene Wenger has shown immense faith in his abilities.
Earlier this month, former Bayern Munich manager, Ottmar Hitzfeld, told Blick that the German giants see Xhaka as an ideal player to replace Xabi Alonso, who will hang up his boots at the end of the season.
When asked about Bayern’s rumoured interest, Xhaka told Blick, “I’ve also read it. But I heard nothing.”
In the same interview, Xhaka added that he is happy to have moved to London, and described Arsenal as an “outstanding” club.
“An outstanding city, an outstanding club. The only thing Arsenal has long been missing is the Premier League title. I believe that will change soon,” he revealed.
The Swiss international further revealed that he feels Arsenal and Bayern are on the same level despite their 10-2 aggregate defeat in the Champions League.
“From my view they are [on the same level]. The defeats annoy me particularly because I have had good memories against Bayern,” he added.
“We were able to beat the Munich team three times with Gladbach. And I don’t think Gladbach are on the same level as Arsenal.”
It seems that Xhaka is unfazed by all the rumours going around him. His comments suggest that he probably does not fancy moving to Bayern, even if (and that is a big IF) they offer a good amount for him in the summer.
