According to The Sun, Yeremy Pino is available in January for just £25m, and Arsenal are already lining up a bid for the attacker.

Pino is a player that Arsenal have been looking at for quite some time now, they were linked in the summer, but his reported £65m release clause was seen as an obstacle.

Indeed, it was claimed by Ben Jacobs that the winger would only be moving for north of £60m, but he also claimed that any deal below that point would represent a ‘fantastic signing’.

“Arsenal fans have been talking about mystery wingers all summer, and Yeremy Pino is fantastic by the way. A really good player. I think this one is one to watch. First of all he has a release clause, if Arsenal do business below that clause they’ll have pulled off a fantastic signing. The release clause is over £65m and the feeling is that Arsenal’s interest is in the mid-30s, so it would be a fantastic bit of busines and ambitious as well,” Jacobs said on The Done Deal Show.

However, now, due to Villarreal’s ongoing financial issues, Pino is available for way below that release clause, and the best thing is that Arsenal can afford a move.

After failing to sign Douglas Luiz on deadline day, there is money in the kitty for Arsenal to spend in January, with Mikel Arteta reportedly set to be backed with a £50m January budget.

It would take just half of that budget to go out and sign Pino, and, in our view, that would be the best use of those funds.

Indeed, Arsenal need a midfielder and a winger, and at £25m, Pino would plug that gap in the wide area while also leaving plenty of money left over to sign a midfielder.

He’s already a Spain international, but at the age of just 20, the winger still has so much room to improve, and if Arsenal sign him for just £25m, they could end up getting a huge return on their investment in years to come.
