Arsenal face paying £55million for Gabriel Jesus – a fee that has left the Gunners thinking twice about a move for the Manchester City striker.
Arsenal are set to miss out on Champions League having lost their last two games at Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
From being four points clear of Tottenham, Arsenal now find themselves two points behind and needing a final-day miracle.
This could heavily impact Arsenal’s summer transfer plans, with some targets maybe reluctant to join a club without Champions League action.
There have been fears that Arsenal now can’t sign the quality of striker they need having been chasing Jesus.
Arsenal face paying £55million for Gabriel Jesus
Manchester City ace Jesus has come onto Arsenal’s radar having been coached by Mikel Arteta at the Etihad Stadium.
Football London claim that Arsenal are confident of signing Jesus this summer.
The Sun even added that Jesus hasn’t ruled out a move to Arsenal even with no Champions League football.
However, ESPN now suggest that Arsenal are having to think again because of Manchester City’s demands.
City allegedly want £55million for Jesus despite the fact that he can leave for nothing in 2023.

Arsenal have baulked at that demand and may instead go for other targets with their budget impact by finishing outside of the top four.
One name Arsenal are understood to be considering is Paulo Dybala with the Juventus man leaving for free this summer.
Dybala, 28, will be in-demand this summer and it’s understood that Arsenal have made contact with his representatives.
Dybala’s entourage have been in London for talks over potential deals and Arsenal have seemingly throwing their hat into the ring.
The Argentinian isn’t an out-and-out striker though, and whilst he may bring goals to Arsenal, fitting him into the team could be a little difficult.
