Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal want to sign Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window, but the Fiorentina striker dreams of a move to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, according to La Repubblica.
La Repubblica have reported that Arsenal are keen on taking Vlahovic to the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window.
However, the 21-year-old striker himself dreams of a move to City and work with manager Guardiola, according to the report in the Italian publication.
TMW have reported that that Arsenal have offered €70 million (£58.59m) to Fiorentina for striker Vlahovic.
And Fiorentina have accepted it.
However, the Serbia international striker has rejected Arsenal’s offer of €10 million per year as salary (£8.37 million per year/£160,949.94 per week).
Manchester City over Arsenal for Dusan Vlahovic?
In our view, Manchester City would be more appealing to Vlahovic than Arsenal.
The Citizens do not have a recognised senior striker in their squad at the moment.

It is very likely that City manager Guardiola will bring in a new striker in the summer of 2021.
So, the door could open for Vlahovic to move to City, who won the Premier League title last season and are likely to win it again this campaign.
Vlahovic has scored 17 goals and provided two assists in 21 Serie A matches for Fiorentina so far this season.
The Fiorentina no. 9 scored 21 goals and gave three assists in the league last season.
