Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raved about Bukayo Saka, as quoted in The Telegraph.

Arteta has said that Saka is a very intelligent footballer who can pick things up very quickly.

The Spaniard has also praised the 19-year-old England international for being able to play in a number of positions.

Saka can play as a left winger, a right winger, a full-back, a wing-back and a central midfielder.

Arteta told The Telegraph about Saka: “Well, I think he has had periods where he has played really well for me in a back four as a full-back.

“He has been exceptional on the right wing, he has been really good playing as wing-back. I think having that flexibility for him has made him a different player.

“He is really intelligent and he can pick things up very quickly. And slowly we will mould him more to the position that we want him to play.”

Saka has been arguably the best player for Arsenal this season.

The youngster has played consistently well, and it is remarkable how many positions he can play in.

And he is only 19.

The Arsenal academy graduate is showing that if given chance, Hale End youngsters can succeed in the first team.

Saka is quick, makes good decisions on the pitch, work hard and is not afraid to take risks.

The best position for the teenager is as a winger.

Playing as a winger allows Saka to express himself and make full use of his attributes.

The teenager has scored five goals and provided three assists in 31 Premier League games this season.

Saka also scored two goals and gave three assists in nine Europa League matches this campaign.
