Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told the club’s official website that Kieran Tierney gives his all even in training.
Arteta made the comments about the former Celtic left-back while discussing his recent injury.
The Spaniard has said that the 23-year-old always pushes himself and gives his best in matches and in training.
Arteta told Arsenal’s official website about Tierney: “No, it’s a different injury in this case. Kieran is a player that really pushes himself and he has to be able to perform physically at his best because he cannot help himself. Even in training he can’t help himself.
“We are trying to manage him in the best possible way and find every possibility to give him the best chance to be fit as soon as possible, and we are here to support him as much as we can.”

Does Kieran Tierney need to change?
There are images of Tierney training in a T-shirt and shorts even when it is snowing, and it is clear that the 23-year-old enjoys pushing himself.
It is very encouraging that the Arsenal star does his best in training and takes the sessions seriously.
However, given the injuries that the youngster has had in recent times, perhaps it would be best if he takes it easy for a while.
Arsenal are in the running for the Premier League top four and are also aiming to win the Europa League this season.
Tierney will be a key player for the Gunners in the coming weeks and months, and perhaps the 23-year-old should tone it down a bit in training sessions, at least for the first few sessions when he is fully fit again.
