Arsenal have touched base with the agent of Yves Bissouma regarding a summer move to the Emirates Stadium, according to a report.
Bissouma was heavily linked with a move to North London in the January transfer window but nothing materialised.
Football London later reported that the 24-year-old was very interested in joining Arsenal this summer.
And it looks like the feeling might be mutual because The Express has claimed this afternoon that Edu and Mikel Arteta have asked to be kept in the loop regarding developments about the Brighton powerhouse.
The report adds that Bissouma does not have a relegation clause with the Seagulls – who are three points above the drop zone in the Premier League – and that Albion could demand a ‘premium’ price.
Arsenal bolstered their midfield in October with a £45 million addition of Thomas Partey.
And with Granit Xhaka being relatively impressive this season for the most part – an error against Burnley last week aside – it’ll be interesting to see where Arteta sees Bissouma fitting in, if the report is accurate.
