Yannick Bolasie has responded to Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe on Twitter.
The Arsenal midfielder starred in Wednesday night’s 4-2 victory away to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Smith Rowe, who is the Gunners’ top goalscorer this season, rolled home his side’s second of the evening after Timo Werner had initially cancelled out Eddie Nketiah’s first-half opener.
The 21-year-old posted on Twitter that it was a ‘big three points’ and here’s how Bolasie, a fan of the North Londoners, responded on Twitter:
The England international now has 11 goals across all competitions for Arsenal this season – including one for his country earlier in the campaign.
He has proven himself a massive asset under Mikel Arteta and, together with Bukayo Saka, the Gunners have two of England’s brightest young talents on their books.
It seems bizarre that he was being linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium last season, with Aston Villa reportedly very keen.
However, a move away from Arsenal was never seriously entertained by anybody inside the club and now we’re seeing why that was the case.
It’s because Smith Rowe, as his goal tally suggests, is a truly brilliant footballer and given that he’s still only 21, it’s very exciting to consider how much better he’s going to become.
