A round up of anything and everything happening at Arsenal over the last 24 hours.

Robin Van Persie’s future at Arsenal will be decided by August 18th as reported by many media sources including BBC Sport. Wenger is keen for the PFA Player of the year to remain an Arsenal player but admitted cryptically he will do what’s best for the club; and off the back of RVP being reportedly banned from Arsenals pre-season tour of Asia it seems he is destined for Arsenals ever busy exit door. Arsenal have so far rebuked the offers tabled by Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus; holding out for closer to £25 million for the Dutchman.

It is reported in several media sources today that Arsene Wenger has no desire to sign French international midfielder Yann M’Vila from Ligue 1 side Rennes. ESPN report Wenger is more than happy with his current crop of centre midfield options including M’Villa’s French compatriot Abou Diaby who seems to have finally put his injury plagues behind him. Not to mention the return of Jack Wilshere and emergence of Francis Coquelin. Eurosport report that the return to fitness of Diaby is paramount to his plans with Wenger quoted as saying that Diaby’s name would be the first on the France team sheet when fit.

The Metro report that Spanish side Malaga are not interested in selling Spanish international Santi Cazorla despite the playmaker being wanted by a host of teams including Arsenal and North London rivals Tottenham. Malaga’s wealthy owner Sheikh Abdullah Ghubn has claimed they are not a selling club but the money at the once free spending side appears to have dried up and to avoid financial meltdown a sale may be the only option with Arsenal potential benefactors.

Another player seemingly not on his way to The Emirates is Brazilian starlet Ganso according to ESPN. Ganso, who is in England with the Brazilian Olympic side is one of the top talents in Brazil and was linked with a move to the Gunners last week by the Daily Mail but the 22 year old has distanced himself from his agents comments suggesting he wanted to force a move. He wrote on his Twitter account how he was ready to stay at Santos and his main focus was on winning an Olympic Gold medal, not transfer talk.

Skysports have two stories on potential incomings and outgoings at Arsenal and again it seems Arsenal and Tottenham may not be able to do battle for a Spanish starlet as Atletico Madrid’s Adrian Lopez has stated he only wants to focus on the Olympics and maintains he is happy at Los Colchoneros. Whilst Benik Afobe feels a loan move may be of benefit to him again this season after previous successful stints at Huddersfield and Reading. The 19-year-old however insists he wants to break into the first team at the club one day.
