Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic isn’t interested in a move to England and prefers a return to Germany despite interest from Arsenal.
That’s according to a report from Sky Germany, who claim that Jovic is ‘far from happy’ with his situation with Real Madrid.
They claim that Jovic wants to go to the Bundesliga only – not England or anywhere else.
Real want to sell Jovic after a dismal few years at the club, but it’s unclear who in Germany would even want to sign him.
Eintracht Frankfurt is where Jovic has played his best football but the money could be beyond them.
Borussia Dortmund will be in the market for a striker with Erling Haaland on his way out, whilst the same may go for Bayer Leverkusen with Patrik Schick.
So far though, no German suitor has really come forward with a move to sign Jovic this summer.
Jovic ruling out a move to England is pretty bold given that he seemingly has an exit route available with a move to Arsenal.
Football London reported earlier this month that Mikel Arteta believes he can salvage Jovic’s career at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal were allegedly keen if the deal was worth just £30million – a £23million loss on the £53million Real paid in 2019.
Having that possibility should appeal to a striker who has really failed to shine with Real Madrid.

After just three goals in 49 appearances for Real, Jovic should be glad that a club like Arsenal are interested in him.
The Serbian, 24, should also pay attention to the rejuvenation of Martin Odegaard since trading Real for Arsenal.
Odegaard had a similar story to Jovic; big talent who became a fringe player and was loaned out before likely being sold.
Odegaard has been exceptional for Arsenal and Arteta may feel that he can do the same for Jovic.
Instead though, it looks like Jovic only wants to play in Germany, meaning Arsenal’s striker pursuit may need to take them elsewhere.
