Flamengo fans on Twitter are urging Arsenal loanee Pablo Mari to come back.
The Spanish defender joined Arsenal on a half-season loan from the Brazilian giants back in January.
And the player himself has intimated that he’d be up for staying in North London on a long-term basis [The Standard].
According to Goal.com, the feeling is mutual and Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will seek to make the move permanent.
Mari played in Arsenal’s 3-2 defeat by Brentford on Wednesday and posted a message on Twitter after the game.
And here’s how fans of his parent club responded to that message on social media:
Mari only made his full Premier League debut in a 1-0 win over West Ham in March which, incidentally, was Arsenal’s last game before the shut-down.
And although he came through it very well, more evidence is needed to determine whether he’d be a good addition for the Emirates Stadium club.
