Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli in The Telegraph.
Again.
Klopp was impressed by Martinelli’s performance for Arsenal against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday evening.
Liverpool won the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final tie 2-0.
Martinelli did not score, but the 20-year-old Brazilian forward was a problem for Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, especially in the first half.
After the match, Klopp said that the £6 million player (Goal) was “outstanding”, and he has now once again praised he youngster.
Klopp told The Telegraph: “Little Martinelli? We will talk about this player in the future.
“Without major injuries he will have a proper career, so it’s really good what Trent did against him. He kept him busy defensively, and wherever he showed up.”

Gabriel Martinelli is an Arsenal gem
In our view, Martinelli is a gem of footballer who can only get better and improve in the coming years for Arsenal.
The 20-year-old has now fully recovered from his injury problems and is playing regularly for the Gunners.
Matinelli is not exactly a ‘natural striker’; he is more of a wide forward who can score goals.
However, in our opinion, the Arsenal youngster could eventually become a top-class striker if he is played down centrally on a regular basis.
After all, Cristiano Ronaldo started his career as a wide-man, and now look at what he has become.
Martinelli has scored four goals and provided two assists in nine Premier League starts for Arsenal so far this season.
