Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has hailed Oleksandr Zinchenko after his performance for Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.
Rodgers has told Football London that he feels Zinchenko has given Arsenal a ‘different dimension’ since signing over the summer.
Rodgers feels that Zinchenko’s ‘technical quality and strength’ have been massive for Arsenal as they chase the Premier League title.
“Top young goalkeeper, back four solid, Zinchenko has done great, has that different dimension, his technical quality and strength,” said Two wingers top class, in particular, Saka. If they keep everyone fit, they would have got into the top four last year. This year the same,” he added.
Rodgers was speaking after Arsenal had beaten his Leicester City side 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Gabriel Martinelli scored the only goal of the game early into the second half, giving Arsenal another three points.
That helps the Arsenal title charge and Zinchenko played his part in a Gunners clean sheet with Arsenal limiting Leicester to just one shot.

Arsenal signed two Manchester City players over the summer with Gabriel Jesus attracting most of the interest.
However, Zinchenko has been an outstanding signing in his own right and particularly crucial in terms of changing the mentality at Arsenal.
Zinchenko has brought the winning mentality from City and has become one of the key leaders in Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal setup.
Zinchenko has been incredibly vocal and has proven himself to be outstanding at helping new players like Jakub Kiwior settle in.
The Ukrainian was given the captain’s armband on Saturday afternoon with Martin Odegaard passing over responsibility as a mark of respect, one year on from the start of the conflict in Ukraine.
That just goes to show how much the Arsenal players love Zinchenko and value his leadership.
Add in that Zinchenko has been superb on the ball and has given Arsenal an option tucking into midfield and the signing has just been exceptional.
Other managers are seeing it too and Rodgers’ praise is proof of Zinchenko’s influence.
