Cesc Fabregas has sealed a blockbuster switch to Chelsea, unveiled on the day of the World Cup 2014 kicking off.
A BBC pundit at the tournament, French icon and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry took to Twitter to give his view on the Spaniard’s controversial move.
Henry like most Arsenal fans would have liked nothing more than the man who became an icon for the Gunners faithful.
This was not a case of Fabregas spurning Arsenal however, in fact it was the Gunners who turned down the chances to sign him.
Yet his decision to join their London rivals Chelsea is one which will leave a bad taste in the mouths of Arsenal fans.
Many are already blaming Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal hierarchy, while it is clear the supporters as a collective will not share Henry’s best wishes towards Fabregas.
