Tottenham Hotspur seemingly have their best chance to finish above Arsenal in more than 20 years.

Gunners legend Bob Wilson shared how he is already mentally preparing himself for Spurs finishing above his former club in the Premier League this season, whilst praising the fantastic job being done by Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane, when speaking to leading sports news outlet Omnisport.
Arsene Wenger’s men currently sit in fourth position in the table, three points adrift of Tottenham, although they do have a game in hand over their bitter rivals.
And this weekend’s fixtures could have a huge bearing on the outcome of who finishes inside the top four, with Arsenal facing a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool, whilst the Lilywhites play host to Ronald Koeman’s in-form Everton side.
Wilson, who made 234 league appearances for the Gunners, responded to a question asking if he thinks Tottenham can finish above Arsenal this season, as quoted by Omnisport:

“It is very feasible. I think I can just about bear one year in 20 for Spurs to finish ahead of Arsenal and I am sort of preparing myself for that. As for the manager Mauricio Pochettino, what he has done since he has been there – he showed it at Southampton to a degree – I think he has great ideas. I have heard of certain things he makes the players do at the training ground, I am all for little initiatives that make it different. He has got himself a squad of players who have got a lot of youth on their side.”
The north London pair are due to meet at White Hart Lane on April 30th, and neutrals will be hoping that they are both neck and neck heading into that clash.
The way things have been going of late, however, it would be no surprise to see Pochettino’s men out of reach by the time that game comes around.
