Tottenham Hotspur are enjoying a more impressive season than Arsenal so far.

Pundit and former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon has told ITV’s Champions League Highlights Show that he thinks Tottenham Hotspur have now surpassed the Gunners.
Spurs impressed the world on Tuesday night, as they travelled to Real Madrid and picked up a 1-1 draw in their Champions League group stage clash, with Harry Kane’s opener cancelled out by Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men have now claimed seven points in three group stage games in the Champions League, meaning they’re just a win away from the knockout stages of the competition.

Meanwhile, in the Premier League, Tottenham have claimed 17 points from eight games so far, leaving them in third place, just five points adrift of league leaders Manchester City as they again line up a title bid.
Across North London, things aren’t quite so peachy for rivals Arsenal. Defeat at Watford last weekend means that the Gunners already lie nine points behind Manchester City, and could already be out of the title race.
In Europe, Arsenal have no Champions League football this term, and Arsene Wenger’s rotation policy in the Europa League means that fans are finding it a little difficult to get excited about Arsenal’s European commitments this season.

The power balance in North London appears to be shifting, and pundit Lee Dixon – an Arsenal legend – has told ITV’s Champions League Highlights Show that he thinks Tottenham have surpassed the Gunners at this stage.
Dixon feels that Tottenham are better than Arsenal as an all-round team, whilst their tactical flexibility under Pochettino is also impressive, meaning they’re ‘in better shape’ than Arsenal right now.
“They’re a better side than Arsenal, yeah,” said Dixon. “Their all-round team, the way they set up, the different systems they can play, because they play three at the back, they play four…I think overall, they’re in better shape than Arsenal right now – which obviously pains me to say – but they are,” he added.
