Tottenham Hotspur play host to Arsenal in the Premier League today.

Ian Wright suggested that he would be disappointed if Arsenal boss Unai Emery lacked conviction and ambition in the same way that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has done in recent weeks, when speaking on his official YouTube channel.
Spurs were right in the mix in the race for the Premier League title just last week, before losing back-to-back league games, and they now seem to have a fight on their hands for third place, with the Gunners just four points behind them.
Pochettino suggested earlier this week that it could take another five years for Tottenham to evolve into genuine challengers for major honours, and Wright was critical of those comments.
The Arsenal legend suggested that he would hate to see Arsenal boss Emery do the same if his side were just six points off the top of the table, when speaking on his official YouTube channel:

“I’d hate to see Unai Emery, if we’re six points off the top, saying it’s going to take five to ten years for us to win the league. He’s giving them the license to say ‘we are not ready yet, if it doesn’t happen, don’t worry about it’. It’s the same thing that happened with them last time. So Tottenham and their players have got a natural kind of excuse. I’d be disappointed if my manager is saying that.”
Tottenham have a great chance to reassert their recent dominance over Arsenal when the two sides meet at Wembley Stadium today, and the result of the game will have a huge bearing on both sides’ aspirations of finishing inside the top four this season.
