Tottenham Hotspur beat Manchester City 2-0 yesterday, and Arsenal legend Ian Wright was impressed with Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright offered high praise for Spurs and talked up their chances of Premier League glory, when speaking live on BBC’s Match of the Day 2 programme last night.
Tottenham produced a magnificent display as they cruised to a 2-0 win over league leaders Manchester City, and laid down a marker for the season ahead.
Wright explained how the quality of the opposition that Tottenham faced is reason in itself to take them seriously as title challengers, when speaking on BBC Match of the Day 2:
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
“I think you have to say it’s City that they’ve beaten there. Like I said, City had a couple of chances, but yeah, you have to say they’re putting down a marker.”
Mauricio Pochettino’s men continue to impress with their tenacious, aggressive, high pressing style and are a team that has been built by the Argentine to fit his playing philosophies perfectly.

They are arguably the fittest side in the league, but the real test, as it was last season, will be in the last four-six games, when the squad will be tested to the limit both physically and mentally.
Next up for Spurs in the league is back-to-back away games at West Bromwich Albion and Bournemouth respectively, and the results of these games will be hugely important with a trip to the Emirates just around the corner on November 6th.
