The Arsenal great admitted that he would like to see Tottenham Hotspur succeed in Europe.

Arsenal legend David Seaman shared how it would be ‘ace’ if Tottenham went on to win the Champions League this season, when speaking exclusively to talkSPORT last night.
Spurs progressed through to the quarter-finals of the competition on Tuesday night, after beating Borussia Dortmund 4-0 on aggregate, and they will surely now believe that they can take on anyone.
Tottenham have come on leaps and bounds since Mauricio Pochettino took over as manager back in May 2014, and they are now considered to be genuine challengers for major honours, both domestically and on the continent.
Spurs have arguably now overtaken Arsenal as north London’s best club, and one of the Gunners’ all-time legends David Seaman told talkSPORT how the rivalry between the two clubs would not stop him from wanting to see Poch’s side lift Europe’s premier trophy:

“I know, that’d be ace, wouldn’t it!” No seriously, I swear, I would want them to win,” he added. “If they were in a final against a foreign team I would want Tottenham to beat them, no doubt about that. Say Tottenham were playing Bayern Munich, Barcelona, whoever – I would want the English team to win.”
Tottenham obviously still have a long way to go before they can even start thinking about winning the Champions League, but one thing’s for sure, there will not be any side in Europe who will relish the though of playing against the north London outfit.
