Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already scored six Premier League goals for Unai Emery’s Gunners this season – but is Harry Kane the better striker?

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has admitted that he would swap Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang for Tottenham Hotspur hero Harry Kane despite the Gabonese goal-machine’s remarkable start to the season, speaking to talkSPORT.
Aubameyang simply cannot stop scoring right now. He has seven in seven games in the first few weeks of 2019/20 and it was his thunderbolt free-kick which secured a narrow 3-2 win against Aston Villa on Sunday.
The former Borussia Dortmund talisman also netted winners against Burnley and Newcastle, while helping The Gunners avoid a defeat in draws with Tottenham and Watford too.
But Parlour, speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast (25 September, 9.30am), still believes the best striker in North London is playing in white rather than Arsenal red.
“(Aubameyang) goes in an out of games, he’ll go missing for 10 minutes. But when he gets his chance he takes it,” Parlour said.
“(But) I’ll probably go Harry Kane.”

Parlour has a point. Aubameyang is a natural-born goalscorer, arguably Arsenal’s best since Thierry Henry, but Kane offers far more than the 30-year-old outside of the penalty area, dropping deep to link the play and even acting as a number 10 at times when starting up front alongside the speedy Heung Min-Son.
Kane is arguably a more all-round centre-forward – but you’re unlikely to find many Arsenal fans who’d take him over Aubameyang right now.
