Arsenal beat Leeds United 4-1 on Saturday evening, but they aren’t impressing everybody with Garth Crooks seemingly reluctant to offer major praise.
Arsenal pick up yet another win
Mikel Arteta’s men have been in decent form of late, and now find themselves in the top four of the Premier League table.
Gabriel Martinelli bagged a brace in the thrashing of Leeds, with Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe also on the scoresheet.
That’s now three wins in a row and 10 wins in the last 15 Premier League games as Arsenal start to build real momentum.
Even with the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang situation hanging over Arsenal, they haven’t lost focus and look dangerous right now.
Crooks yet to be impressed
Whilst many are praising Arsenal and Arteta, pundit Garth Crooks just isn’t having it.
We have to point out here that Crooks was a Tottenham Hotspur player, which may just bring a hint of bias.
Still, Crooks has used his BBC Team of the Week column to brand Arsenal ‘unbearable’.

Crooks believes Tottenham are ‘ordinary’ and can’t understand how they are managing to win so many games.
Maybe, just maybe, Arsenal a little better than you think, Garth?
Crooks did at least rave about Arsenal youngster Saka, comparing him to David Rocastle in a huge compliment.
“Arsenal fans will know what I think of this talent. He’s the best thing I’ve seen since I saw Arsenal’s David Rocastle burst onto the scene at Highbury. Saka was brilliant against West Ham and even better against Leeds and the difference between the two teams in both matches. He is the most consistent Arsenal player at the club and has been for the last season and a half – and the reason Arsenal find themselves flying high.”
“I can’t understand how such an ordinary team keeps getting these results. It’s unbearable,” he added.
