The Elland Road loanee, who came through the Gunners ranks, is impressing for club and country.

Leeds United on-loan ace and Arsenal academy graduate Eddie Nketiah has taken to Twitter with a message following his goalscoring display for the England Under-21s yesterday.
The Elland Road loanee’s first-half penalty gave his nation the lead against Slovenia in Maribor, before debutant Sam Surridge’s 70th-minute strike put England in control.
However, Dejan Petrovic took advantage of Aaron Ramsdale’s misplaced pass eight minutes from time and, in injury time, Janez Pisek converted a free kick for the hosts for a 2-2 draw.
While it may have been a frustrating day from the team’s perspective, it was good on a personal level for the Leeds attacker, whose 45-minute appearance nonetheless yielded another goal.
Here is what Nketiah wrote on social media, plus a selection of responses from his fans:
Nketiah has scored four goals in eight Leeds appearances in all competitions so far this campaign, including two goals during his six league appearances, despite not yet being named in the starting lineup for any of the 10 Championship encounters since he joined the Whites.
Up next for England U21s is a return to Euro Under-21 qualifying action against Austria in Milton Keynes on Tuesday night, and in terms of club action, Marcelo Bielsa’s side is the Championship game with Birmingham at Elland Road on Saturday.
