Roberto Firmino did record three assists in the first half of Liverpool’s 9-0 win over Bournemouth in August, but that was a home game for the Brazilian.
Fulham probably weren’t even expecting Trossard to play in this game but they were destroyed by him.
Trossard’s early corner was headed home by Gabriel Magalhaes before he dinked a cross in for Gabriel Martinelli to make it two.
Trossard ended the half in style, picking out an inch-perfect cross for Martin Odegaard to fire in number three.
What makes this even more incredible is that Trossard should have had four.
Trossard found Granit Xhaka to go through on goal, but the Swiss midfielder squandered the chance.
This performance is exactly why Arsenal bought Trossard in January and the move to sign him from Brighton and Hove Albion for £27million looks like a bargain now.
