Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are leading the race for Dusan Vlahovic, a player Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is desperate to bring to Anfield, according to Calciomercato.
Arsenal lead race for Liverpool target Dusan Vlahovic
Calciomercato have reported that Juventus are willing to sell Vlahovic in the January transfer window, and that Arsenal are leading the race to bring the Serbia international striker to the Emirates Stadium in the middle of the season.
Interestingly, the 22-year-old striker had the chance to move to Arsenal in January 2022 before he switched to Juventus from Fiorentina.
As reported by Sky Sports in January 2022, the Serbian wanted only to move to Juventus and turned down a potential switch to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Vlahovic in the January transfer window.
Earlier this month, CMW reported that Klopp wants to sign the striker for Liverpool and is willing to do anything to bring the Juventus striker to Anfield.
Juventus are looking for £85 million (£73 million) to sell the striker, according to CMW.
