Arsenal will face Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley after the Championship side and reigning FA Cup holders pulled off a second shock in succession against Manchester City in the quarter final.
Goals from James Perch and a Jordi Gomez penalty were enough to defeat the League Cup winners – with Samir Nasri scoring a goal for City who piled on the pressure late on.
But a stunning performance from the Wigan defence, in particular Emmerson Boyce, was enough for victory.
The game will be played on the 12/13th April – with the winner taking on Hull City or Sheffield United in the final come May.
Yaya Sanogo has shared his thoughts on the FA Cup semi-final draw on his official Facebook page – stating:

Arsenal will reportedly have to cough up a pretty sizeable sum for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata – if their interest in the player is as concrete as suggested in the press.
Real Madrid have reportedly quoted The Gunners a £25 million fee for the talented young forward – and he is said to be considering the possibility of a switch to London, as he struggles for first-team football in the Spanish capital.
Arsenal star Jack Wilshere has seemingly decided for a getaway after his most recent injury.
The England international fractured a bone in his left foot during action against Denmark recently – and has been ruled out for eight weeks.
But he was snapped in Dubai relaxing – with his foot in its protective cast.
It looks pretty genuine…and that’s because it is.
Only problem is this … could it be from February 2012.
Wilshere was also injured back then and in a much longer recovery process – and took snaps of himself with his son Archie on his holidays – wearing the same stripey shorts and protective boot.
