Arsenal may be about to get into battle with Liverpool for a loan signing once again this week as they both look set to launch bids to bring in Dutch attacker Ibrahim Afellay according to The Metro. Spurs and Zenit are also keen on the 26 year old former PSV player who is believed to have a desire to play in the English game. Afellay has struggled since his move to the Nou Camp, particularly with a knee injury and a loan spell would help secure the first team football he craves.

However AC Milan has as the Rossoneri agreed a deal with Caen’s highly rated young striker M’Baye Niang.
