Kieran Tierney is open to leaving Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and agents are pushing his name towards Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.
That’s according to The Chronicle, who claim that Tierney’s representatives have offered the left back to Newcastle.
Tierney is represented by CAA Stellar, the agency who also work with Nick Pope, Elliot Anderson and Javi Manquillo.
The 25-year-old is understood to be interested in a move to Newcastle after a difficult campaign at Arsenal.
Tierney has started just four Premier League games this season having been bumped out of the team by Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Hailed as ‘outstanding’ by Brendan Rodgers, Tierney is in danger of fading away at Arsenal and this lack of first-team football isn’t good enough for him.
That may mean Tierney chases a summer move away and it look like his agents are already trying to engineer a move.

Kieran Tierney to Newcastle United is ramping up
Reporter Chris Wheatley claimed last week that Newcastle are monitoring Tierney’s situation at Arsenal very closely.
The rumours have been rife since then with The Sun adding that Tierney is unhappy at Arsenal and the Magpies will pay £30million to sign him.
The Mirror (26/02, p71) added that Tierney is open to signing for Newcastle should they move for him this summer.
Newcastle don’t yet have their left back of the future and Tierney should offer an upgrade on both Dan Burn and Matt Targett.
Magpies boss Eddie Howe allegedly made Tierney his top target for the 2018 summer transfer window at Bournemouth.
No deal was done back then but it was clear that Howe loved what he saw from Tierney at Celtic.
If Newcastle really are being offered the chance to sign Tierney this summer, surely Howe would be interested again.
The Scot needs first-team football and Newcastle could be ready to make their move this summer.
