Juventus want Gabriel Magalhaes and will make a push for the Arsenal defender despite seeing him sign a new contract.

Juventus look rather foolish right now.

President Andrea Agnelli championed the Super League and believed it wasn’t fair for clubs like Atalanta to be in the Champions League off ‘one good season’.

If you’re going to talk like this, at least have your own house in order.

Juventus have embarrassed themselves by finishing third in their Champions League group, claiming a dismal three points in six games.

Juventus want Gabriel Magalhaes

Changes are inevitable with Juventus showing themselves up like this.

Boss Massimiliano Allegri is under huge pressure and Juventus will ultimately need to spend in order to get back to being a European power.

Juventus are still moving on from the Giorgio Chiellini era and, in truth, it may be time to admit that Leonardo Bonucci is a fading force.

Juve spent on a new centre back over the summer in Bremer but now want a natural left-footer too.

Tuttomercatoweb report that Juventus are focused on signing Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes.

There is one big problem for Juve; Gabriel signed a new long-term deal with Arsenal in October and surely isn’t planning on leaving any time soon.

Juventus understand that this will be a complicated pursuit but feel it’s one they simply have to push for in order to bolster their defence.

The idea is to pair Brazilian defenders Bremer and Gabriel together and move Juve forward but Arsenal will command a huge fee for the centre back.

Gabriel has been playing regularly in the Premier League, forming a strong partnership with William Saliba.

Arsenal extended his contract for a reason and if Juve want to sign him, they’re going to have to dig very, very deep without having Champions League knockout stage money.
