Fabrizio Romano has said on Twitter that next week will be key for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in their quest to sign Arthur Melo from Juventus in the January transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported hat Arsenal are still pushing to sign Arthur.
Juventus are not approving a loan deal at the moment, but Arsenal are not giving up, according to Romano, who has suggested that things could progress next week.

In our view, there is still a good chance that Arsenal could sign Arthur Melo from Juventus.
The Brazilian midfielder himself is reportedly keen on a move to the Gunners and is ready to join the North London club on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Now, of course, Juventus will have to agree to any exit.
Maybe the Italian giants will be more receptive to a loan exit for the 25-year-old if they can find a suitable replacement.
In our opinion, Arsenal should continue to push for a loan deal if they are really keen on bringing the former Barcelona midfielder to the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window.
