Arsenal are interested in signing Joao Felix and he has admitted that his agent isn’t even telling him about potential moves away.
The Gunners find themselves having to consider signing a new striker during the January transfer window.
Gabriel Jesus has picked up a knee injury at the World Cup and the Brazil striker now faces a significant spell on the sidelines.
Eddie Nketiah may be called upon to step up but with Arsenal having hopes of winning the Premier League title, Edu may be forced into the market.

Arsenal are interested in signing Joao Felix
It’s unclear just who would be available for Arsenal but Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix is surely on his way out in 2023.
The 23-year-old was expected to be a superstar when Atletico paid £113million to sign him from Benfica in 2019.
Yet it has become clear that Felix and Diego Simeone just don’t mesh; the Portuguese ace needs to be in a more expansive team.
Arsenal seem a like a fine home for Felix, especially given his ability to come deep from the attack just like Jesus.
The Gunners board are understood to be big fans of Felix and would like to bring him to North London, according to Give Me Sport.
The rumours have ramped up again today with Relevo reporting that Arsenal have made contact over a potential deal for Felix.
Atletico allegedly want £120million for Felix though, which just isn’t going to happen; not from Arsenal, not from anybody realistically.
Felix is playing well at the World Cup in Qatar and was superb in the 6-1 thrashing of Switzerland on Tuesday night.
Fabrizio Romano has now published quotes from Felix in which he states that he is completely focused on the World Cup.
Felix even claims that his agent isn’t even telling him about potential transfers and doesn’t want to, just so he isn’t distracted from Portugal’s push for glory in Qatar.
Edu and co can still try and negotiate with Felix’s agent to try and set up a deal but they won’t get any indication of the attacker’s thoughts for a while yet.
