Jack Grealish has praised Arsenal as the better team despite Manchester City beating them 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners hosted their title rivals in a huge clash with Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola locking horns again.
Kevin De Bruyne’s superb lobbed finish gave City the lead before Bukayo Saka levelled it up from the penalty spot for Arsenal.
Arteta’s men couldn’t find the goal to go in front and were made to pay when Grealish fired City ahead.
Erling Haaland added number three to take City top of the Premier League table.
Arsenal still have a game in hand but one point from the last three games is far from ideal for Arteta and co.
A trip to Aston Villa this weekend doesn’t seem ideal for Arsenal but they must now respond as champions would.

Jack Grealish hails Arsenal performance
It’s natural to be disappointed after a night like this and Arsenal players will now have their mentality questioned.
The game was there to be won at 1-1 and Arsenal have come out with nothing, falling just short to the reigning champions.
One poor result wouldn’t be a disaster but three on the bounce my leave some a little worried.
Still, Arsenal didn’t actually play that badly against City.
Defensive frailties and an inability to truly seize the game at 1-1 have cost Arsenal but the general performance wasn’t terrible.
That’s the view of City goalscorer Grealish too, who told Amazon Prime Video that his honest view is that Arsenal were actually the better team.
Grealish feels Arsenal were actually ‘a lot better’ than City but Pep Guardiola’s side just had to dig in and secure the three points.
“If I’m being honest, I don’t think we actually played that well,” said Grealish. “I think Arsenal played a lot better than us, I thought they were the better team. I think so. They had a few chances – I don’t know if it was a penalty, I haven’t really seen it back yet.”
“If you win titles, you’ve got to come to grounds like this. Even when you’re not at your best, you’ve got to win games. That’s what me and Riyad [Mahrez] said to each other on the bench,” he added.
Those comments won’t heal the wounds of defeat but it just goes to show that Arsenal are on the right track – and must keep doing the right things moving forward.
