Arsenal are interested in signing Brentford striker Ivan Toney and could offer players as part of a deal in the January transfer window.
Arsenal may offer a part-exchange deal in an effort to tempt Brentford into selling striker Ivan Toney.
That is according to a report from 90Min, who report that Arsenal are ‘open’ to sending players to Brentford.
Toney is still suspended until January having been hit with a ban for gambling breaches.
The 27-year-old is able to train with Brentford though and rather than gear up to play for the Bees again, he may instead be preparing for a transfer.

Arsenal eyeing part-exchange deal for Ivan Toney
The rumour mill is already churning and continues to link Toney with a January move to either Arsenal or Chelsea.
90Min note that both clubs are weighing up bids for Toney but have shown a willingness to do part-exchange deals.
Brentford are allegedly denying that Toney can leave for £60million and would actually want in excess of £75million fro the striker.
That’s a huge asking price and is ultimately why both Arsenal and Chelsea are trying to include players in the deal to bring the fee down.
Toney, praised as the ‘nearest thing to Harry Kane’ by Paul Merson, is out of contract in 2025 and clubs will hope that Brentford decide this is the right time to sell.

Who could Arsenal swap for Toney?
Many will suggest Eddie Nketiah here, but would he really swap Arsenal for Brentford having just landed an England call-up?
Nketiah may feel that this would be a backward step having started the season as Arsenal’s first-choice striker.
Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe may be reluctant to leave too whilst Cedric Soares doesn’t seem all that appealing in Brentford’s system.
There aren’t many other realistic options here, and it may be that Brentford take a couple of young players for the future instead.
There just isn’t an obvious swap here but Arsenal may try their best in an effort to bring the price tag down.
