Tottenham Hotspur crashed out of the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon has offered his former side’s bitter north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur a word of advice on Twitter, after Spurs crashed out of the Champions League.
Spurs had high hopes of qualifying for the last eight of the Champions League on Wednesday night, after their 2-2 draw against Juventus in Turin which gave them an advantage on away goals.

However, Son Heung-min’s first-half opener was simply not enough for Spurs, as goals from Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain sent Mauricio Pochettino’s side out of Europe with Juve progressing into the quarter finals.
Dixon stated that the next focus of attention at Spurs should be their game management, and how to see a match through to the end when taking an early lead.
Dixon’s former side Arsenal proved to be much more effective in Europe on Thursday night when facing Juve’s Serie A rivals AC Milan in the Europa League, winning 2-0 at the San Siro thanks to goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Aaron Ramsey.
Tottenham now travel to Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon as they look to get back on track with another league win and remaining in the Premier League’s top four, with their focus likely to switch to winning the FA Cup.
