Ian Wright has praised Bukayo Saka whilst claiming that the Arsenal star has developed into and ‘8/10 every week’ player.
The Gunners returned from the international break with ah huge game against bitter North London rivals Tottenham.
This was a big test for Mikel Arteta’s side and they passed it with flying colours.
Thomas Partey fired Arsenal in front from long range before Harry Kane levelled it up from the penalty spot.
Gabriel Jesus had Arsenal back in front though, with Granit Xhaka securing a 3-1 win following Emerson Royal’s red card.

Ian Wright has praised Bukayo Saka
It’s hard not to be excited about this Arsenal team.
Seven wins from eight in the Premier League is hugely impressive and the Gunners deservedly sit top of the Premier League table.
It will be difficult to maintain this form over the course of the season and in truth, it’s hard to see Arsenal really challenging Manchester City.
Yet with top four the goal for this season, Arsenal look to be primed for Champions League action next season.
Arteta is doing a great job at the moment and his development of young players like Bukayo Saka has earned praise.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has now stated on his podcast, Wrighty’s House, that he thinks Saka has become an 8/10 player every week.
Wright added that Gabriel Jesus is playing at a similar or possibly even better level whilst left-sided winger Gabriel Martinelli is ‘flying’.
“You’ve got Saka who’s now just 8/10 every week, Gabriel Jesus is 8 or 9 out of 10 every week, Gabriel Martinelli is flying,’ said Wright.
We often see young players suffer some kind of inconsistency but Saka just seems so reliable.
The 21-year-old is a frankly enormous talent and whilst one goal in eight Premier League games this season may not sound all that great, he has chipped in with four assists too.
Saka is a constant threat cutting in from the right flank and he was outstanding once again in Saturday’s win over Tottenham.
We’re used to seeing Saka’s brilliance but he has developed into a player Arsenal can rely on week in and week out, deservedly earning that praise from Wright.
