Arsenal beat West Ham United 2-0 on Wednesday night, leaving Ian Wright absolutely buzzing with Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.

Arsenal go fourth with West Ham win

This had the feel of a big game. Arsenal fans knew that a win over West Ham would take them into the top four, leapfrogging their opponents.

Arsenal couldn’t force the ball home in the first half but did take the lead in the second. Alexandre Lacazette picked out Gabriel Martinelli, and the Brazilian did the rest.

Lacazette had a penalty saved just to increase the nerves a little, but Smith Rowe wrapped it up for Arsenal.

Picking up Bukayo Saka’s pass, Smith Rowe drove towards goal before beating Lukasz Fabianski with a low drive.

That’s nine wins from the last 14 Premier League games for Arsenal, who continue to move forward under Mikel Arteta.

Wright loves Arsenal starlets Saka and Smith Rowe

If anybody lives, breathes and sleeps Arsenal, it’s former Gunners striker Wright.

An Arsenal legend in his playing days, Wright may have retired many years ago but still kicks every ball.

Wright took to Twitter after Wednesday’s win to post a clip from his podcast, Wrighty’s House.

The clip simply shows Wright singing the names of Saka and Smith Rowe to the tune of ‘Rockin’ All Over The World’ by Status Quo.

Saka and Smith Rowe are not only Arsenal’s big hopes for the future, but also their star talents right now.

Given a chance in the first team, Saka and Smith Rowe have ran with it and should be fixtures at Arsenal for years to come.

Wright loves them just like many Arsenal fans do, and seeing them combine for that second goal is just another reason to be excited for the future.
