Arsenal legend Ian Wright has taken to Twitter after seeing a video of goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale goading Leeds United fans.
Ramsdale enjoys beating Leeds United
A video has surfaced of Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale celebrating after Emile Smith Rowe secured a 4-1 win at Elland Road.
With Ramsdale in goal in front of the Don Revie Stand, he was always going to receive some stick.
Ramsdale used to play for Leeds’ Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United, and that may have been remembered by some Whites fans.
Ramsdale – as he often does – goaded the opposition fans, celebrating in front of Leeds supporters whilst receiving some less-than-pleasant shouts.
It won’t bother Ramsdale; he loves this kind of thing. He did the same with Leicester City fans in October and there will no doubt be more to come.
Arsenal legend Wright reacts
Arsenal fans will love this from Ramsdale, and Gunners legend Ian Wright is no different.
Wright took to Twitter to admit that he misses this kind of thing – mocking opposing fans – since retiring.
Wright loved giving a bit back to the fans and no doubt supports Ramsdale doing the same, especially in an Arsenal win.
It’s also that little bit sweeter against Leeds, with many loving to wind their fans up at Elland Road.
