Arsenal hero Alexis Sanchez has never won a league game against Tottenham.

Alexis Sanchez is Arsenal’s talisman, their best player, and integral to their current and future success.
Yet when it comes to facing rivals Tottenham, he has been ineffective and has a dismal record.
In five Premier League North London derbies, Sanchez is yet to finish on the winning team.
The Chilean was on the losing side at the weekend when Spurs beat Arsenal 2-0 in a one sided match at White Hart Lane.

In the three previous league games he has played against Tottenham, they have all ended in draws, finishing 1-1 on three occasions and 2-2 once.
In these five matches, Sanchez has just one goal to his name.
There is no disputing Sanchez’s world class talent, but against Tottenham, in games where he really should be making a difference, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have found a way to stop him.

Sanchez’s only wins against Spurs in his career come as a substitute in a League Cup game in 2015 where both teams rotated their squads, and with Udinese in the UEFA Cup all the way back in 2008.
With just one year remaining on his Arsenal contract, time is running out for him to correct his poor record against their rivals.
His cause for a lucrative new contract would have been helped with a blistering display in Sunday’s derby, but once again Tottenham found a way to shut him out.
