Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Arsenal have decided to sell Arthur Okonkwo in the summer transfer window.
The Italian journalist has claimed that Arsenal and Arthur Okonkwo have come to an agreement that the 21-year-old goalkeeper can leave for good this summer.
Romano has added that the youngster has clubs in England and across Europe interested in him.
The journalist wrote: “Excl: it has been agreed that talented goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo (21) can leave Arsenal on a permanent deal this summer.
“His contract expires next summer – after Sturm Graz loan last season Okonkwo is now subject of interest from clubs in England and across Europe.”
Best for Arthur Okonkwo if he leaves Arsenal
In our opinion, it would make sense for Arthur Okonkwo to leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Aaron Ramsdale is the number one goalkeeper at Arsenal at the moment.
That is not going to change anytime soon.
Ramsdale is an England international and is one of the best goalkeepers around.
There is no point in Okonkwo staying at Arsenal and warming the bench.
The Englishman has had loan spell spells at Crewe Alexandra and Sturm Graz in recent years.
Okonkwo has now got a taste for first-team football.

Becoming a squad player at Arsenal would be a step-down for the former England Under-18 international goalkeeper.
According to Romano, there are clubs in England that want to sign Okonkwo.
We believe that the 21-year-old should really consider moving to one of those clubs, even if they be in the Championship.
Potential destinations for Arthur Okonkwo
Perhaps Bournemouth could be a good destination for Okonkwo.
The Telegraph reported last month that Bournemouth could be in the market for a new goalkeeper if Mark Travers leaves.
Perhaps Leeds United could also be on the hunt for a new goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.
The West Yorkshire club will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.
Illan Meslier is the first-choice goalkeeper at Leeds, but there is speculation that Chelsea are looking at him.
