Arsenal goalkeeper Damian Emiliano Martinez has taken to social networking site Twitter to wish Isaac Hayden the best of luck at Newcastle United.

Hayden has left Premier League club Arsenal to join Championship outfit Newcastle on a five-year contract.

The 21-year-old, who can play as a centre-back or as a defensive midfielder, has Championship experience with Hull City.

Martinez has taken to Twitter to wish the youngster the best of luck at Newcastle.

Former Arsenal prospect Nico Yennaris, now on the books of Championship club Brentford, has also congratulated Hayden on Twitter on his move to the Magpies.

Hayden played for Hull on loan from Arsenal during the 2015-16 campaign. The youngster scored one goal and created 13 chances in 17 Championship appearances for the Tigers last season.

The England Under-20 international had a pass accuracy of 88% and a shot accuracy of 40%, and won eight headers, 13 dribbles and 13 tackles.

Newcastle will feature in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
