Campbell said about signing Wijnaldum on loan in January: “100%. He is a player, not only is he a winner, but he can score goals. He can do it all. He can sit there. He can say to Thomas Partey, ‘You go. I have made a few runs forward. It’s your time’.”

Georginio Wijnaldum would make Arsenal better

In our view, Wijnaldum would make Arsenal a better and more competent team in the middle of the park.

The 31-year-old is a dynamic box-to-box midfielder who won the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool.

Wijnaldum, rated highly by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, was a regular in the Liverpool team under manager Jurgen Klopp.

And, in our opinion, he would be a perfect addition to the Arsenal midfield.

Wijnaldum could play alongside Thomas Partey or even replace him in midfield.

Arsenal are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four this season, and Wijnaldum would enhance the Gunners’ chances of doing just that.
