Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has taken to Instagram to react after Arsenal attacker Gabriel Martinelli destroyed Leeds United.

Aubameyang reacts to Martinelli brace for Arsenal

Arsenal headed away to Leeds United on Saturday evening in a pandemic-hit Premier League weekend.

Martinelli bagged the first two goals in a 4-1 win, producing two fine finishes at Elland Road.

Bukayo Saka made it 4-1, and whilst Raphinha pulled one back for Leeds, Emile Smith Rowe secured the 4-1 victory.

Martinelli is chipping in with goals as Aubameyang’s Arsenal exile continues.

Aubameyang has been stripped of the Arsenal captaincy and has now been left out of their last three games.

Aubameyang is still paying close attention to Arsenal though. He took to Twitter to respond to Martinelli’s Instagram post, calling him ‘Gabinho’ alongside two love hearts.

Who knows if there is a way back for Aubameyang at Arsenal, but he is still enjoying Martinelli’s rise regardless.

Bruno Guimaraes joins in

There was also a message from Lyon midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, who simply posted two fire emojis.

Guimaraes will be a familiar name to Arsenal fans from transfer windows past.

Guimaraes claimed earlier this year that Edu wanted to sign him for Arsenal over the summer, but no deal was done.

Maybe Guimaraes and Martinelli join forces one day, but the Arsenal man will just love the support from his fellow Brazilian for now.
